29 ADDY AWARDS TOTAL
INCLUDING THREE BEST OF SHOWS
Brand Society was the big winner at the New Orleans Ad Club’s 2022 Addy Awards Show at the Music Box Village in the Bywater on Friday, February 11. The agency took home a total of 29 awards: 15 Gold ADDYs including three Best of Shows (with Best of Show Overall), six Silver ADDYs and eight Bronze ADDYs. Recognition was for work created for Blue Runner Foods, Crystal Hot Sauce, Port Orleans Brewing Company, BillGO, the AllState Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic, Luke Restaurant, Restaurant August and the Louisiana Restaurant Association.
Along with awards given for agency work, Managing Partner Troy Cox received the Ad Person of the Year Award: Agency Executive. He said, “While it’s an incredible honor to be recognized in this way, I’m mostly excited for our team. Together, we’ve won more than 60 national and local awards over the last two years – a remarkable feat considering what everyone has had to deal with both professionally and at home during the pandemic.”
Founding Partner Ricky Thomas summed up the night when he said, “What a blast! It’s so nice to see the team perform at the highest level. We have much more to accomplish for our clients but it’s nice to dance a little along the way.”
And Partner/CCO/Executive Creative Director Mike Rainey added, “Frankly, we’re blessed to have such extraordinary and visionary clients. Having a blast is just lagniappe!”
